Umedjon Safaralievich Hikmatov

Umedjon Hikmatov has more than 20 years of professional experience in the banking sector. From 2015 to 2024, he served as First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Spitamen Bank CJSC. Prior to joining Spitamen Bank, from 2009 to 2015, he worked at FINCA Bank Kyrgyzstan as a Regional Manager. From 2003 to 2009, he held various managerial positions at FINCA Microfinance Deposit Organization (Tajikistan).

In January 2026, he was appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Babr Capital, and since February 2026, he has served as Director of Babr Capital.

He holds a Doctor of Economics degree and the academic title of Professor. He is the author of more than 100 academic publications and research papers.
